What Is The Best Car Polish?
|
Liquid Glass Polish- voted the best polish for
cars in forums, autogeek, autopia, and Consumer Reports. It creates a mirror like shine
while it works against acid rain, road salt, tar, sap, rust, corrosion, dulling, bugs, water spots,
protects against scratches and more.
Liquid Glass LG-100 Ultimate Auto Po... produces a super high gloss finish in half the time of other
products.

The Liquid Glass finish is as hard as glass
and will never crack, chip, peel or turn yellow and never has to be removed. It can be used on all paints, all
glass, chrome, gold plated auto emblems and it's safe to use. We are also glad to say this top car polish is
made in the USA.
The biggest reason it’s voted the best car polish
ever is it gives a deeper glossier shine that goes a long way which can last up to a year. It will
seem like dirt won't penetrate it. (depending on # of coats)
It doesn't even compare to paste waxes that can yellow
and last only a few weeks. Applying and removing is much quicker than a regular wax because it goes on and wipes
off so fast and easy. Some waxes are so difficult to remove and are more likely to scratch your paint as you
buff hard to get it off.
There are other cheaper products out there but they just don't
last as long. Liquid Glass auto polish is the longest lasting polish and gives results like no other. It is
truly unbelievable and flawless, better than new, especially after the second coat. This is as glass-like as it
gets with no residue.
When you wash your car again, the water beads off like crazy on both rinses and it is
super easy to dry. Don't let the name "polish" fool you, this product doesn't need wax or anything
else applied on top of it. This is the longest lasting polish you will ever use.
Tips for using Liquid Glass Auto Polish
-
Apply at least three coats before a long winter, applying one each day for 3 days so it "sets". This
car polish gives the surface a shell tough enough to withstand impact from small objects. Liquid Glass
even states if you apply 20 coats it will literally resist stone chips!
-
After applying, it is recommended to leave each coat on up to 4 hours. (best to bake in the sun)
-
Use on windows, lights, chrome wheels, chrome and gold auto emblems or black pearl emblems for
protection, shine and to repel water spots.
-
If it goes on the car a little tough it may be because you haven't removed old wax, use
a pre-cleaner first, especially if it's a first time application (available in the Liquid Glass Total Appearance Kit that also comes with special
application cloth and buffer towel.)
-
I recommend getting a few microfiber towels or the absorber Synthetic Drying Chamois, but if you use one with a sewn edge, fold it in so it
doesn't come in contact with the paint and remove any tags.
-
For doing 3 coats in one day use a buffer machine to make it an hour job. (Don’t use a buffer machine on
gold plated emblems)
-
When you see after a wash if the water isn't beading up it's time to reapply Liquid Glass again,
it will last from a couple of months to a year depending on number of coats.
-
-
If you get any streaking while buffing just add a quick spray of water and it'll fix the problem
Negatives
The only down side is the "baking time", the directions say to sun cure it for 4 hours so it
may make take more than a couple days for all three coats if you do it this way. Some people have done it for 10
minutes and some for an hour and both have seen great results, so don’t be deterred by the time factor.
Positives
Nothing compares to the ease of applying and removing Liquid Glass Auto Polish. Sun or shade,
buff in 10 minutes or after 4 hours, it still comes off as easy as dusting furniture. It will not leave a white
residue or any swirl marks.
You don't need to reapply every month to keep a great shine if you do more than one coat as
recommended.
You Can use it on your windows and it lasts longer than Rain-x.
Can be applied to new gold plated emblems or
black pearl emblems to keep them looking like new, for protection and
to repel water spots. Apply to prevent gold watches from fading.
In a Liquid Glass demonstration they put a lit cigarette on a vehicle and it was protected
from any damage (not sure how many coats they applied, but pretty impressive though)
Lastly, for a cheap alternative that only lasts
between washes and can be used on gold plated emblems try
